You Say Chowdah!

 

If you are looking for an excuse to day-drink on February 2nd, look no further than Chowderfest in Saratoga Springs, NY.  All participating restaurants on this list will have samples of chowder for sale for $1.  Map out a few places to stop, get a chowder and a beer at each place, and make your way through the town.  Hope to see you there!

The next baby video to go viral?

It’s hard not to love this video. The kid has some serious moves and seems to love and be frightened of the attention at the same time. I’m guessing this happens often, as his dad doesn’t seem to care that a baby is running around on the stage during his song. Anyway, we are at almost 650,000 views as of this posting. We’ll see what it hits if the right people view/share it.

Under Promise and Over Deliver

Whether it is your boss, your friend, or your significant other, I’ve found that the best way to make someone appreciate the job you have done is to under promise and over deliver.

I am going to TRY to make this blog occasionally interesting, funny, or somewhat entertaining to anyone who takes the time to check it out.  The content will most likely be a good amount of sports, TV/movie/music, and links to stuff I find amusing.  I’m sure there will be many awkward phases and growing pains, just like the ones I experienced when I was 12 years old.

Maybe you will bookmark the blog because we are friends and that is a friendly thing to do.  Maybe this page will make its way into your daily rotation of websites you check.  Or maybe this is the last thing you ever read here.  But I do hope that this blog keeps us both entertained for a good, long time.
