My Taco Bell Quesarito review #tacobell

A post shared by Clem (@theclemreport) on

For this Chow Time review, we go outside the bun and south of the border for Taco Bell’s newest invention, the Quesarito.  Basically it is a burrito wrapped in a nacho cheese quesadilla shell.  You have a choice of ground beef, chicken, or steak, which immediately makes a legit dinner option on its own.

The problem with Taco Bell burritos (well, other than the fact they are Taco Bell burritos) are that the tortilla is too thin and all the meat/rice/etc. falls out after the first bite.  Someone looked at the 10 ingredients that Taco Bell uses for all of their products and figured out that wrapping the burrito in a pseudo-quesedilla would alleviate this problem for good.  And it worked.

I ordered a Steak Quesarito, which was pretty hearty.  There was steak and rice inside, with a layer of nacho cheese between the burrito and the quesadilla.  The extra padding of the quesadilla makes it easier to eat and improves the whole experience.  Until they take it off the menu, the Quesarito is my new go-to option at Taco Bell.

Rating: 8.7/10

PS- Apologies for the video getting cut off.  My camera woman dropped the ball on that but assured me it would never happen again.
